CAM is thrilled to announce our selection as an Applied Research Fellowship site with the Data Innovation Project at USM.

DIP partners with organizations to increase their capacity to utilize data to clearly define their work, achieve results, and demonstrate impact in Maine and beyond.

Molly Williams, a Masters in Policy, Planning & Management student at the Muskie School of Public Service, is working with us on a data development plan that will help our alliance articulate the relationship in Maine between strengthening local cultural ecosystems and infrastructure (libraries, archives, historical societies, arts organizations, historic preservation work) and improvements in Maine communities’ well-being.

We're currently conducting focus groups to better understand current practices around collecting and analyzing impact data, and what could be possible through collaboration, coordination, and cost-sharing. We'll also explore shared technology solutions that could meaningfully broaden our case-making potential as a sector. We invite you to take our three-question survey assessing our sector's current practices.

Tell us about your current impact measurement practices!

These can be quantitative or qualitative, formal or informal. What tends to come up when you tell someone why you matter?
