In partnership with Maine Archives & Museums, the Maine Library Association, Picture Maine, Maine Preservation, New England Museum Association, Maine Humanities Council, and Maine Arts Commission, CAM is planning our second Cultural Advocacy Day in the State House.

Many will recall that CAD 2023 was an opportunity to assert the importance of culture in Maine, network with cultural colleagues statewide, meet elected officials, and turn the Hall of Flags into a site of culture, creativity, connection, and hope for Maine's best future. CAD 2024 will be all that and more, with a number of important bills on the table pertaining to historic tax credit expansion, sales tax, film, bonds for cultural facilities, and more
